Jamaica Tower Climbers & Riggers Association (JTCRA) was established to ensure credibility and consistency for companies, businesses and personnel that works within or provide services in the tower climbing industry. The JTCRA ensures that persons carrying out works related to communication tower erection, maintenance, inspection, and installation are competent and maintain their competency.
This assurance provides companies with the confidence that persons performing tower climbing activities will be equipped with the knowledge and skill to perform their work safely. A good safety record for companies does help in reduced liability insurance premiums.
Safety is equally important for individuals as well, and the JTCRA will ensure that Tower Climbers receive training that is at or above the OSHA Standard; up-to-date; and comprehensive yet tailored to their needs.
